My story

Italian, native from the Mediterranean island of Sardinia. From a young age I started to produce my first pictorial paintings participating in diverse exhibitions and contests.

In 1983 I moved to Rome to study Illustration and Visual Communication in the prestigious Instituto Europeo di Design, getting the highest qualification of my promotion. Then collaborated as an illustrator and graphic designer with multiple advertising agencies of Rome, making, among others, walled decorations to a few hotels and restaurants of Italy, among them the McDonald's in Rome.

In 1991 I move to Seville, where I found the Estudio de Diseño y Creatividad SCANU-MARTÍN, S.C., working on design jobs for top Spanish companies and institutions.

From that moment my production of pieces of art is non stop, participating frequently in collective and individual exhibitions in galleries of art, house museum, etc.

Technique used

After many years using the airbrush, acrylics, oil and watercolors, I start to tinker with different techniques with diverse materials, mixing pumice, calcium carbonate, carpenter's white glue, and water with colored pigments. The majority coming from pulverized minerals, golden and silver leaf, and dust of rusted iron.

Hence begun, almost casually an exclusive technique and personalized that characterizes my work, making them unique and different.

My reflection

I finally got it! I'm in the list, among more than 800.000 professional artists around the globe, thanks to that Subastas Isbilya is selling my work and they are published in their 2019's catalog among the greatest masters of the classic art and contemporaneous renowned as Antoni Tapies, Salvador Dalí, Pablo Picasso, etc...

It's a big leap of quality, but I'm certain that I don't want to be criticized by experts of contemporaneous art about where or with whom I've been exhibiting my pictorial work, but for what it's conveying, how it captures the heart of the contemplative spectator. I just hope and wish to transmit and share through my work the essence of my soul, which is impregnated of lots of years experience, beauty and fullness, that with shyness and discretion tries to peek over that current life.
